I was 16 when I DJ’d for the first time. My junior year of HS, we had a dance coming up and the DJ that had been hired cancelled at the last minute. Given I had a big record and CD collection, I was asked if I would DJ even though I had never done it before. But I always wanted to. The music teacher, friends, and I cobbled together a sound system using home gear, except for the mixing board supplied by the music teacher. The dance went really well, and everybody had a blast including me! I absolutely loved it! That was the start of a long and still going DJ career. I’ve since had a mobile DJ company and played many nightclubs and events over the years around Denver, Colorado Springs, and other locations. I’ve also been a burlesque and fire performer. After my near-death experience, I was given the opportunity to play in my first band in 2014 called Quantum Beings of the Miraculous dropping samples and beats. We played all over Colorado, New Mexico, and as far out as San Diego. There are pics and videos below. This led to the discovery in 2018, quite by accident, that I could write and produce music.
